About the author

John Andrew Egan began his working career as a sign writer in Sydney, committing 24 years to the trade. Longing for a slower pace of life, he moved to Tasmania, gravitating to a similar career in epitaph inscription, where he worked for 10 years. Wants changed, so next moved north to Mareeba, Queensland, finding a job as fleet coordinator for a sugar mill, where 14 years passed in uncomfortable tropical heat. Unable to bear the conditions any longer, John moved south again to retire and took up writing science fiction novels at the seaside town of George Town, Tasmania, Australia. Where he wrote his first novel, SYMAN. Satisfied with the results, John went to work again and wrote his very first trilogy, EYES OVER EARTH.
